How it works
Three parts, one natural result
The implant
A small titanium post placed into the jawbone. Over two to four months it fuses with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration — becoming a permanent part of your jaw.
The abutment
A small connector piece fitted to the top of the implant once it has integrated. This forms the foundation that the crown attaches to.
The crown
A custom-made porcelain or ceramic tooth, crafted to match your natural teeth exactly. This is what you see — and it looks and functions just like a real tooth.
We use Nobel Biocare, Ankylos and Astra implant systems — among the most scientifically advanced and clinically proven systems available. Our implantologist, Dr Salman Malik, completed his MSc in Dental Implantology at the University of Manchester.
